Scavenger hunt photos, part four

I am blatantly stealing (well, technically, I think I'm actually pirating, since I'm not removing it from anyone's possession...) Sue's blogpost about cloud shapes, partly because clouds are few and far between in Cyprus in the summer, partly because I at least WAS present when she took the photos (although she only pointed out the face to me--I didn't know she'd taken the others!), and partly because I'm lazy. :-) And that fulfills challenge number 12 of the summer 2013 photo scavenger hunt!

Here's the cloud that I saw and immediately recognized the face when Sue said, "Oh, look, that cloud looks like a face!", and if you go to Sue's blog, you can see a dragon and a person crawling, as well.

Scavenger hunt photos, part three

I'm not doing very well on this photo scavenger hunt, but here's what I'd collected so far and not gotten around to publishing.

First, the most recently taken photos, and most boring, for number 18, Your local pub/bar, coffee house or tea shop:

This building was a preschool until a few months ago, then they painted over all the bright cartoons and moved a café in. We've never been there, but it's about 200 meters away from our house, and it's name IS "Local Café", so I figured it's close enough.

More interesting to me was number nine, A photo with someone or something that is clearly out of place or doesn't belong. I took...a few photos on this topic.
A cat in a stocking. In June.

Not too weird, really, just Jacob in the rabbit run. This was the day we got two new rabbits, so he was introducing them all to one another.

Dishes aren't exactly unusual, but if you look closely...

...a giraffe. I asked my husband why there was a giraffe in the drying rack, and he answered, logically, "Because it was in the sink." No, I don't know who decided that the giraffe needed a bath. I love it how matter-of-factly it got washed and put in the drying rack, just because it was there.

This shouldn't really be included, because I don't see any reason at all for my daughter not to be on my lap, but I couldn't come up with another category to put this in, and I wanted to include this photo. :-)

I think it's a door-stop. I saw it downtown. Being a Sandra Boynton fan, I'm not sure that I think wings on a pig are actually that out of place, either.

Elisabeth has been practicing drawing spiders and other creatures...

...with ball-point pen...

...on the sheet of our bed. When my husband pulled back the top sheet to go to bed, we both jumped, as it looked like we had a spider and a cockroach in the bed.

Katie's reading a book. Nothing at all unusual or out of place about that either. Even if most people do prefer to sit on their bottoms.
